For the first time, the pairings for the first two days of the U.S. Open will be based on the World Golf Rankings, NBC Sports reported Wednesday. That means Tiger Woods will play with Phil Mickelson and Adam Scott.

Adam Scott celebrated rejoining the European Tour by shattering the course record here with a stunning final-round 61 to claim the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.
