Tiger Woods had a straightforward passage into the semifinals of the WGC Accenture Match Play Championship when he defeated South Korean KJ Choi three and two in the quarterfinals.

Tiger Woods defeats KJ Choi 3&2 to reach the last four of the WGC Match Play Championship.

KJ Choi carded a six-under-par 65 to head the field after round one at the Northern Trust Open.

South Korea's KJ Choi wins his seventh PGA Tour title by winning the Sony Open in Hawaii by three shots on Sunday.

KJ Choi carded his worst round of the week but a one-over-par 71 in blustery conditions was enough to see him home in the Sony Open.

KJ Choi is poised to collect his seventh PGA Tour victory after storming four shots clear entering the final round of the Sony Open.
